After signing a 10-day contract with Hyeres-Toulon on 12/18, Pierre Pierce is moving up in the French league.

He was signed today by Cholet Basket in the Pro A division after playing three games for Hyeres-Toulon in the Pro B division. He performed well on a fill-in basis. He started all three games, averaging 18.3 points, 3 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1 steal per game.

The former Iowa Hawkeye, Pierce now joins a team that sits at 7-7 and will look to fill the role left by Guard Terrell Everett, who played collegiately at Oklahoma. Pierce is in his 6th professional season and has played throughout Europe. This is his 2nd trip through the French league after starting out with Hyeres-Toulon from 2008-2010.
