Kansas City Chiefs release Bryan Mattison

The Kansas City Chiefs announced the release of OL Bryan Mattison on Saturday.

A week after signing Mattison to their roster, his time in Kansas City is over. He was signed to provide depth on the Offensive Line, but was listed as inactive for his one game with the Chiefs. He was replaced on the roster by a Defensive Back, with the team attempting to fill multiple holes on their depth chart.

The former Hawkeye Defensive Lineman has played with both the Baltimore Ravens and St. Louis Rams in his five year NFL career.
