Greg Brunner signs with Reggio Emilia

It is becoming evident that Greg Brunner enjoys playing basketball in the Serie A League in Italy. After signing with Trenkwalder Reggio Emilia, Brunner will be joining his 7th team in the League since the 2008-09 season.

Brunner is a well respected player throughout the League, which is evident by the amount of teams that have looked to acquire the Power Forward. He was an Honorable Mention All-League player in 2010 and has been a member of the starting five for multiple teams throughout his career. After playing in the Italian Cup Finals last season, he will be joining a team that is making their first appearance in Serie A. Reggio Emilia were the regular season champions of the Lega Due last season and have moved up to the top league in Italy.

Time will tell if Brunner finishes this season where he starts it, but it’s almost a guarantee he will be in the same League.
