Cardinals release Broderick Binns

The Arizona Cardinals made a roster move on Tuesday in order to re-sign Linebacker Clark Haggans. The team needed a roster spot and made that room by releasing Broderick Binns.
Binns was an undrafted free agent out of the University of Iowa and was trying to make the team as a Linebacker despite playing Defensive End for the Hawkeyes. It appears the Cardinals are looking for more veteran experience along the line as they are expected to bring in Vonnie Holliday according to azcentral.com.
In order to continue his attempt at finding a home in the NFL, Binns will need to find another team willing to give him a chance at a roster spot or at least a spot on the practice squad.
