Brooklyn Nets acquire Reggie Evans in sign and trade

Add another team to the resume of PF Reggie Evans. According to Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Clippers and Nets have agreed to a sign and trade that will send Evans to Brooklyn in exchange for a future 2nd Round pick.

Evans, who has been labeled one of the dirtiest players in the league, is also a fan favorite in whatever city he calls home. His style is not one for the highlight reel, unless of course it is a rebounding reel. Always a high energy player that is willing to do the dirty work, Evans will be joining his sixth team since 2002 when he signed with the Seattle Supersonics after going undrafted out of the University of Iowa. Evans bounced from Seattle to Denver, then on to Philadelphia before joining Toronto and then Los Angeles when he spent last season winning over the Clipper crowds.

According to Wojnarowski, Evans agreed to a 3 year, $5 million deal in order to make the sign and trade work.
